Réception a l'Eveche Kinshasa, de 15 vélos pour les pasteurs de Minga de la part de Mr. Wembonyama Louis COLON fils, présentement en Suède.

Ces velos nous ont ete remis par, Mr. Wembonyama Louis COLON Pere et Papa Joseph Kebe Manya.

Les vélos serons expédiés prochainement vers Minga.

We are pleased to inform you that the episcopal area have just added 5 graduates  of Africa University  known as:

1. Rose Otshi Ombaku (Health Sciences)

2. Tantine Tshama Asomelo (Management)

3. Wiya Libuma Denea (Education)

4. Pascal Ekanga Lomandjo (Health Sciences)

5. Antoine Omalohoso (Education)

The graduation will take place this Saturday June 07, 2014.

Thank you Bishop David K Yemba for the  scholarships that our young people received. Also, we thank God for his protection and many good things He made to  these young people since August 2009 until today.

 

Source de Vie Ngaba loost one of it's members

October 17, 2013, The Source de Vie Ngaba local church has lost one of it's members (Mr. Alphonse Otenga). May his soul rest in peace. 

 

2,000.00 USD for God's works

October 16, 2013, A faithful member of the United Methodist Church in the west Congo annual conference (Kinshasa) has given two thousand U.S. dollars ($ 2,000) for the purchase of land to build two chapels specifically for the Kinsenso local church 1000 $ and for Kingasani $ 1,000. Note that for the Kingasani local church, still $ 200 is missing for the purchase of the land identified. Your support is welcomed.

 

Executive Committee :  

It was held on Saturday, October 12, 2013 in Kinshasa, a meeting of the Executive Committee of the West Congo Annual Conference which was chaired by His Excellency, Bishop David K. Yemba Resident bishop & Legal Representative.

Three points have been in the Agenda. These are:

- The vote of one of the resolutions of the Finance Committee of the Annual Conference on Financial Management,

- Evaluation of the activities of the mission,

- Analysis of the petition issued by the East Congo Annual Conference of the East Congo Episcopal Area.

These three points were all treated and resolutions shall be communicated to the authorities of the Church affected by them. The meeting began in an atmosphere of joy ended in the climate of fellowship.

This Wednesday, October 9, 2013, the Episcopal Region Central Congo has just held its first Board of Directors new formula under the chairmanship of Dr. Gilbert Wembodinga in the meeting room of the palace in Kinshasa. Highlights of the meeting are:
- The organization of elections of members and board committees
- Reading of internal regulations and status of the United Methodist Church in Central Congo
- Conclusion and Recommendations
- Set the next meeting: First half of January 2014.
Were present:-Dr Gilbert Wembodinga, Dr. Pierre Manya, Dr. André Mpoy, Mr Stanislas Kassongo Ka Suedi, Rev.. Welcome Kamana - Reverend Mary Akenda, Mr José Tunda, the other members being excused.
